Jet Wash Fighter Plane - The US Air Force has unveiled a new robotic arm designed to reduce the time and manpower needed to clean fighter jets.
Weapons can be completely cleaned in just one hour on the F-16 Viper fighter, saving a lot of time and manpower. This technique is likely to be ported to other aircraft and may be useful for processing aircraft exposed to hazardous chemical agents.

The Texas National Guard's 149th Fighter Wing recently held a weapons demonstration at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland. An Air Force image shows a large robotic arm washing F-16s from Lone Star Gunfighters equipped with drop tanks.
